Who is the 6 week programme suitable for?
Anyone who is committed to increasing their energy and vitality, lowering their blood sugar and/or blood pressure, improving their sleep quality, managing their stress better, improving their mood – overall achieving and sustaining a greater feeling of health and wellbeing. Weight loss may well occur as a side effect if you are above a healthy weight, and you may well gain weight if you are underweight, but neither is our primary aim.
What do I have to do to make the programme work for me?
You will obtain the best results if you commit wholeheartedly to several achievable and measurable health goals, and resolve to do all you can to reach and surpass them – including enlisting the help and support of friends and family. Our skilled coaches employ NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and other evidence-based mindset management techniques to facilitate your acceptance and implementation of the lifestyle changes you need to make, and you will gain peer support from the other students on your course.
Why will this programme work for me when others have not?
There are many weight loss and wellbeing approaches, both in the private sector and the NHS, some of which are group-based, and many are web-based. None of these offer a personalised modular group-based structured education programme for improving health and wellbeing taught by highly qualified nutritional therapists who are also coaching professionals.
Why does your 6 week programme look more expensive than the popular weight loss plans in the short term?
Our structured education programme is taught by highly qualified nutritional therapists who are also experienced coaches. The programme is self-contained and in only 6 weeks it can empower you to make all the lasting lifestyle changes needed to achieve your health goals - increase energy and vitality, lower blood sugar and/or blood pressure, improve sleep quality, manage stress better and improve mood. If you are committed then the 6 weeks will be all you will need to make lasting changes, whereas with many other plans your dependance on their support is much longer term.

All of our programmes are founded on the guidelines and recommendations issued by The World Health Organisation, The National Health Service, The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and other authorities. Are doctors aware of your courses?
We have sent details of our programme to all of the general practices in the areas of our course venues during the four weeks before the courses start. We have also invited the practice staff to attend any or all of our introductory talks as our guests. Please let your doctor know about the course and that you are planning to attend.
Can I involve my doctor in my decision to join one of your courses?

What shall I ask my doctor to do to support me on the programme?
Please make sure that your doctor is aware of your health and wellbeing objectives and the lifestyle changes you are planning to make. Please also ask your doctor to monitor your health and wellbeing measurements regularly and to contact us if they have any concerns.

How will I know the course is working – how will you measure success and how soon will I see results?
We use an adapted version of the NHS MYMOP form (Measure Yourself Medical Outcome Profile). This tracks qualitative patient outcomes by recording each week perceived changes in symptom severity, ability to undertake certain activities, and general wellbeing, on a scale from 0 to 6 (0 is as good as it could be, and 6 is as bad as it could be). You will also have the opportunity to have your body composition measured each week using cutting-edge technology BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) Tanita scales. Some lifestyle changes can have a very rapid positive effect, and some can take much longer, so your outcomes will depend which changes you decide to make and how committed you are to making them.
How will attending your programme change my life?
You will identify and commit to achieving your own personal health and wellbeing objectives, both during the course and for the rest of your life. You will gain knowledge of the body’s major systems and how they are affected adversely or positively by your diet and your lifestyle. You will learn to give your health and that of your family much greater priority in your decision-making. You will commit to the lifestyle changes you need to make to achieve your health and wellbeing objectives, and you will be inspired, motivated and empowered to make those changes. You will learn coping skills to help you to maintain your mindset and commitment, and keep your focus on your health goals in the long term. You will build a support system of family and friends who will help you to stay on track, and potentially learn and benefit from your knowledge and experience.
